Sophie's first day of daycare

Well, today was the first day of Sophia's day care. I knocked on the wrong house thinking it was the daycare and some older lady came to the window yelling "I don't know you!"

Poor lady! I bet you her heart rate shot up to about 300. Sylvia was a little nervous this morning but I think it had more to do with her wanting to be nervoues and emotional.

OK. calm down you'll be fine.

Goals for today!

Today I will workout my Quadriceps, Hamstrings and Calves for endurance training at the local gym. I plan on suffering to no end. I will later go for a 1.5 mile swim doing intervals one lap fast/one lap slow and repeat thereafter.

I am still recovering form my saddle sores so I need to be innovative in my training if I am off my bike. My training is all focused towards Ore-2-Shore. Last year I did ok for my first time out with a respectable time of 3:36:01. However I want to shatter that by 37 minutes and make the top 200 riders.

Yesterday I went for a 5 mile run and got my heart rate to an average of 155. The quads felt tight and strong so I feel that I have a solid base I just need to turn up the heat and take my training to a higher level.

C'mon people get a room already!!!

So I go to my local recreation center last night for an hour of swimming. You know build up the cardio system since I'm still recovering from all my saddle sores. I jump in the pool establish my lane and get going. After about 20 laps. I am just settling in trying to keep things under control and I start noticing a bunch of hill billies jumping around having fun in the pool. Ok whatever! I'll work around it. But then it turns ugly. This guy is fondling this government mule of a woman in the pool and to make it worse it's in the lane next to me. You know c'mon get a freakin room beastiality is against moral code.

ARGH!!!!!!

Then the hilljack asks me what are you looking at? Wrong question to the wrong guy! Boy did I let him have it! At that point I was done for the night. I left to hit the showers. The regulars all followed me and man where these guys pissed. we all marched single file to the Director's office and lodged a complaint.

I'll tell you Jerry Springer is a television show it's not real. Well...then again!!!

Lumberjack 100

This was a grueling race! 83 miles completed out of 100. I pushed till I couldn't push anymore. It was hot and I just could not get it going anymore. I don't feel that bad because out of 147 peple only 57 riders finsehed. There is always next year! Now I have a new goal. I must redeem myself.

Yesterday was just nuts! I leave work early to do a brake job on my truck and I caught a flat! Great called AAA got the spare put on, went to a local tire repair shop and got the tire replaced. Then I picked up my mechanic to take him to his shop to pick up a part so he can fix his car before he can work on my car. Then my uncle calls me and tells me that's he at Home Depot with 2 flats!!

What the hell is going on? Nonetheless. I finally make it home bought a 6 pack of Oberon and watched ECW's show.

Hopefully today will be much better. I plan on going for a five mile run and a mile swim to relieve stress or maybe I should ride tonight?

I cam across this pit bull site and saw this dog. I was immediately reminded of Mona. I can't beleive how much I miss my beloved Pit Bull. I hope God is taking care of her.
